Dire Straits on the Roundabout
Roundabouts are a different thing altogether. Their construction differs significantly from normal road construction. One key factor alone is the permanent bend – the small radius presents a challenge, not only to traction of the road paver. In the next edition of our RoadNews Magazine we shall report on roundabout construction from 4 very different job sites.

Ballast Bed for Railway Track Built by VÖGELE Paver
A few modifications need to be made to both tractor unit and screed, that’s true. But after that the paver is capable of even laying ballast for railway track bed construction. In RoadNews 02 we want to report on a building site for a railway line between Bern and Zürich (Switzerland), another interesting field of application for VÖGELE pavers.
